South Africa humbled a 10-man Morocco outfit in a round of 16 contest at the on-going Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in San Pedro on Tuesday night.
A goal in either half from Evidence Makgopa and Teboho Mokoena inspired Hugo Broos’ coached side to a memorable victory.
Makgopa of Orlando Pirates football club gave South Africa the lead in the opening stanza.
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Mokoena stuck home a beautiful free-kick in the closing stages of the game to seal the victory.

Morocco were reduced to 10-men when Manchester United midfielder Sofyan Amrabat was sent off late in the game.
This was the last round of 16 duel played on the same day Mali ejected Burkina Faso 2-1 at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly stadium.
