Amus College players celebrate a victory

Overview:

A total of 21 schools were drawn for the male and 13 for the females as the 2024 Bukedea district football qualifiers come knocking.

The organizing committee for the Bukedea district sports hierarchy confirmed the football draws for both male and females ahead of the 2024 qualifiers.

A total of 21 schools were drawn for the male and 13 schools for the females.

Men:

Four groups were drawn for the men (A, B, C and D). In group A, there is Malera Kabarwa Seed, Koreng SS, Kolir Comprehensive, Jane Alison, Kings High School and  Kachumbala Comprehensive.

Group B has giants Bukedea Comprehensive, St John’s College, Bukedea Lifeline, St Theresa Okunguro and Kidongole Seed.

Group C is composed of Malera SS, Bukedea SS, Aligoi Seed, Morehouse and St Michael High School Bukedea.

The reigning district champions Amus College School are pooled in group A alongside rivals Amus High School, St Joseph Komuge, Kongunga High School and St Peter’s Katekwan.

Amus College School Bukedea Girls football team

Girls:

The girls’ cluster has three pools (A, B and C). Group A has St John’s College, Bukedea Comprehensive, Olir Comprehensive and Kachumbala Comprehensive.

Group B is made of the current girls’ football district and national champions Amus College School, St Peter’s Katekwan, Kongunga High School, Kidongole Seed and Bukedea Lifeline.

Group C is constituted of Malera SS, Bukedea SS, St Theresa Okunguro and Kings High School.

The Bukedea district football qualifiers will be held effective 15th March 2024.

The different schools have intensified training sessions in preparations for this championship were the top three will make it to the Teso zone championship later in March 2024.
