Wanderers picked up their first points of the season last weekend with a nervous win against Patidar at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe. This weekend they face second-placed Ceylon Lions in Lugogo seeking a consecutive win.
Wanderers were decent with ball in hand last weekend but their batting is yet to come together. They laboured to get only 63 and if they dont bat better it will be unlikely for them to defeat Ceylon Lions.
Ceylon Lions are still hurting from their loss to Kutchi Tigers and will be quickly seeking getting back to winning ways to make sure they stay close with the leading group. Ham Kayondo and Nsubuga Siraje will be pivotal for Ceylon Lions who will also be seeking revenge after Wanderers nicked a point against them last season at home in a clash that ended in a draw.
Kutchi Tigers will be seeking maximum points at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe as they look to go top of the Premiership table. Kutchi Tigers are tied on the same number of points with Nyakasura at the top but with Nyakasura ahead due to a better Net Run Rate.
Tornado Bee are yet to get any points on the board and will be looking to upset the favorites Kutchi Tigers. On a weekend when the cricket fraternity celebrated their Patron Eng William Kibuka Musoke, a victory against Kutchi Tigers would be the perfect gift.
In the championship, leaders Soroti City welcome Tornado in familiar settings. Tornado won one and lost the other last weekend against Budo. Tornado will be looking for some points on the road in conditions that favor Soroti City.
