Record holders Express and nine-time cup winners SC Villa have been eliminated from the Stanbic Uganda Cup by BUL and Kitara respectively.

At Masindi Municipal stadium, Frank Tumwesigye and Paul Mucureezi scored late goals sink SC Villa and send Kitara into the quarter finals for the first time.

Zaga scored just a minute after replacing Denis Omedi in the 81st minute and Mucureezi sealed the victory off a rebound four minutes to time.

Kitara remains unbeaten against SC Villa in the three meetings so far with two wins and a stalemate.

BUL, one-time winners beat Express 4-1 on penalties at Njeru after the two sides drew 1-1 courtesy of late goals from Ismail Mugulusi (BUL) and Katumba (Express).

BUL and Kitara join Pajule Lions in the quarter finals at the moment.

Action in the round of 16 will continue on Monday with KCCA away to URA while Soltilo Bright Stars host Police at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.
