Liverpool supporters in Uganda (UG-KOP) maintained with their generous acts of charity with a positive impact towards the development of local communities when they visited Masaka city based St Nazareth Orphanage center.
The UG-Kop improved the lavatories at St Nazareth Orphanage center following a successful charity fundraising campaign.
There were ear-to-ear smiles from the visiting delegation, children and officials at the center as the UG-Kop delegation visited shared fond memories with them, dined together before watching the day’s English premier league contest on the menu.
The venture is intended to improve the general health at St Nazareth Orphanage center.
UG-Kop has also been successful through various projects as blood donation, tree planting (in Nakaseke), helping the orphans, sick, young and elderly, among others.
Time over and again, the famous club slogan “You’ll Never Walk alone” is amplified aloud by these passionate and vivid fans.
The UG-KOP group was founded in 2012 with different leaders who are elected democratically.
Macwilliams Edward Mponye is the current chairperson of UG-KOP who heads a team of dedicated, passionate and loyal Liverpool fanatics.
