2024 USSSA Football Championship – Jinja City:
Semi-finals:
- Jinja Comprehensive 0 (5) – 0 (4) Jinja Secondary School
- Lake Side S.S 3-1 Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA)
The boys’ football final in Jinja city will be played between Jinja Comprehensive and Lake Side Secondary School on Thursday, 28th March 2024.
The development comes after the completion of the quarter-finals and semi-finals on Tuesday, 26th March.
Jinja Comprehensive School edged Jinja Secondary School 5-4 in post match penalties after normal time had ended goal-less at Kakindu Stadium.
At the Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe, Lake Side SS humbled Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) 3-1.
Swabir Mpasa’s goal for JIPRA was turned into a mere consolation as Lake Side SS ran riot.
Ivan Maturu, Yusuf Bakisula and Abdul Rahman Tabuga found the back of the net for Lake Side S.S.
Lake Side SS will now face Jinja Comprehensive School in Thursday’s finale.
All the semi-finalists had booked their tickets to the the zonal championships.
