Having retained the USSSA Butambala football trophy, Hajji Ibrahim Mukasa, head teacher at Bulo Parents SS boldly hints at this championship as a precursor for the upcoming UMEA Muslim solidarity games due in Masaka this Easter weekend.
Bulo Parents Secondary School won the 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) football championship in Butambala district.
The victors triumphed 2-1 over arch-rivals Kibibi secondary school in the well contested finals
They had earlier edged Butawuka Magezi Ntaake Secondary School 2-0 in the semi-finals.
Bulo Parents’ swift journey had commenced with a goalless draw with Ngando S.S before whipping Cardinal Wamala Secondary School 3-0 during the group C duels.
From the group stages to the finals, Bulo Parents scored 7 goals and conceded once during the four epic matches played.
Hajji Ibrahim Mukasa, head teacher at Bulo Parents was overwhelmed by the performance, lauding the players and coaching staff.
In the same vein, he appreciated the effort of Ministry of Education and Sports and Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) for the deliberate effort in promotion of sports.
Hajji Mukasa boldly hints that this championship will prepare the team for the upcoming UMEA Muslim solidarity games due in Masaka this Easter weekend.
We thank the Ministry of Education & Sports, USSSA for their mandate in promoting Talents in schools. We are proud of our sports department headed by Mr. Sejjuko Isa. This victory means a lot to us as we retain the Butambala district football championship for the second year in a row. As a school we shall continue as we have always done, to always offer a holistic curriculum to our students. Sports and Academics are very fundamental at Bulo Parents SS. As we head for the Uganda Muslim Education Association (UMEA) games in Masaka, we go with our heads held high

Bulo Parents has now retained the Butambala district football trophy having also won it last year.
The zonal championships involving schools from Butambala, Mpigi, Gomba, Mityana and Mubende districts will determine the three representatives to the 2024 USSSA football nationals that will also be staged in Masaka city.
