Last season, Police men handball team finished third and eye a better performance this coming season.

As the new season (2024) of the Uganda Handball League comes knocking, different clubs are preparing seriously.

Behind the curtains, the menus are being prepared with the respective sides assembling their playing and technical dockets.

Police handball club has hired the services of four new players to beef up their side.

These include Kenneth Twinomugisha from Kyambogo. “I am excited to join Police handball club and ready to serve above self” Twinomugisha who will don shirt 11 vowed upon his official unveiling at GNS Plaza hotel.

The other three new players include Daniel Bongomine, Hassan Mustafah and Rogers Owori.

The new players will join the bandwagon that already has skipper Imran Kangala, Ismah Kisalita, Said Abdul Salam, Arnold Kahuma, Mark Emasu, Wasswa Ssebuguzi, Frank Bwire, Hassan Ssendagire, Geoffrey Ssekamanya, Shakib Nyanzi, Ivan Sentamu, Badru Opio and Nathan Wokulira.

Last season, Police men handball club under Frank Ssemujju Wyne (head coach) and Fred Ayet (assistant) finished third and eye a better performance this coming season.

The women side were champions and has also been reinforced prior to the virgin season.

The women team was also boosted with a new kit branded and procured by Eco Pads.

Meanwhile, the annual Police handball open has also been revived and confirmed for the 29th to 30th June 2024 at the Police handball courts in Kibuli, Kampala.
