Across various spheres of life; Mulindwa has seen it all albeit with flying colours.
From sports, mainstream politics, business and entrepreneurship, agriculture to ordinary life, Mulindwa has surpassed the bare-minimum.
The FUFA Executive member is now the chairperson of the management committee at the rebranded Hamz Stadium; formerly Nakivubo war memorial stadium.
The development was confirmed by youth mogul himself Hajji Hamis “Ham” Kiggundu on the evening on Tuesday, 11th June 2024 as Mulindwa received the instruments of power.
We expect Mr. Rogers Mulindwa to guide the stadium to further growth and ensure that the facility generates income for its sustainability. I have no doubt, Mr. Mulindwa will deliver us to a desired destination and I shall give him all the support he needs.
Hajji Hamis “Ham” Kiggundu

On 1st June 2024, Mulindwa was the Chairperson of the local organizing committee during the official reopening ceremony of the sports facility located right in Kampala’s Central Business District (CBD), a task he perfected beyond the horizons.
Humbled in his submission, Mulindwa lauded Kiggundu for trust and confidence vested unto him.
“I am grateful to Haj Hamis Kiggundu for this task assigned to me” the NRM spokesperson appreciated.
“This is not a full time job but I shall offer my best and together we shall direct our focus towards continued improvement of this facility. Hamz stadium is strategically located and we shall ensure its put to proper use to avoid frustrating the private developer and investor”, Mulindwa remarked.
The other management committee members will be confirmed and named soon.


Hamz Stadium was officially commissioned by the head of state H.E General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in April 2024.
This stadium is 25,000 capacity all seater facility with special executive boxes and the general seating arrangement.
Besides football, the stadium also has netball and basketball courts with a state of art gymnasium.






Tit-Bits about Rogers Mulindwa:
- He is an Executive Committee Member of FUFA headed by Hon. Eng. Moses Magogo. He also served in Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa’s regime for 8yrs as both Excom Member and Federation spokesperson.
- Served as a CAF Media Officer during his 4-year period on the Media standing Committee of the African Football body. He was the first Ugandan journalist to hold this continental duty.
- During his stay in CAF, Mulindwa participated in a number of CAF events. His last official Continental duty was the AFCON finals in Equatorial Guinea in 2013.
- Was the spokesperson of the Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) for eight years from 2006 to 2013. He also served on several CECAFA Committees.
- He was a board member of Nakivubo stadium for two un disrupted terms during Hon Charles Bakabulindi’s tenure as the sports Minister.
- Mulindwa is also considered the longest serving Secretary of Masaza organizing committee, an annual football event manned by the Buganda Kingdom. He occupied the office for a record of 8 years.
- He is a politician and the spokesperson for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).
