16 boys and 14 girls were selected to represent team Uganda at the upcoming FEASSSA Games that will be co-hosted by Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College College (16th to 27th August 2024).

- GreenHill Academy Kibuli – 318.5 Points
- Aga Khan High School – 317.5 Points
- British School of Kampala Rafters – 234 Points
- Elite High School Entebbe – 233 Points
Women (Top 5 team scores):
- British School of Kampala Rafters – 463 Points
- Green Hill Academy Kibuli – 339 Points
- Seroma Christian High School – 292 Points
- Elite High School Entebbe – 241 Points
- Gayaza High School – 193 Points
The flash of the water at every dive and each stroke during the 2024 Uganda Secondary School Sports Association (USSSA) swimming Gala at Seroma Christian High School was breathe-taking.




Over different distances, the competitors from the different schools engaged in different strokes as freestyle, breast stroke, butterfly, backstroke and the medley relay.
Action commenced as early as 9 AM until sun-set where the prize presentation and medal ceremony was held.


Outstanding teams:
Hosts Seroma Christian High School toppled the rest of the opposition in the boys’ cluster witth 395 points.
GreenHill Academy Kibuli came second with 318.5 points, Aga Khan High School was third on 317.5 points and British School of Kampala Rafters finished fourth with 234 points.
The top five positions were sealed by Elite High School Entebbe (233 Points)

Women (Top 5 team scores):
British School of Kampala Rafters was heads and shoulders above the rest having scored 463 points, ahead of Green Hill Academy Kibuli (339 points).
Seroma Christian High School finished third with 292 points.
Elite High School Entebbe (241 points) and Gayaza High School (193 points) were fourth and fifth respectively.

Individual results:
Mary Peyton Suubi (British School of Kampala Rafters) clocked 2:40:99 to win the 200m Individual medley race.
Suubi was ahead of Karen Mwangi (Seroma Christian High School) and Sonia Mwere (GreenHill Academy Kibuli) with 3:00:95 and 2:55:90 times respectively.
Aga Khan High School’s Ian Aziku clocked 2:34:65 to the boys version ahead of Thembo Schwarzkoff (Kings College Buddo) and Adriel Lumu Tumusiime (British School of Kampala Rafters).





Seroma Christian High School student Karen Mwangi was dominant in the girl’s 12 to 15 years cluster in the 50m butter fly race.
Mwangi swarm 32:43 ahead of Aga Khan High School’s Tyrah Muganzi (32:97) and British School of Kampala Rafters’ Paula Nabukeera (33:09).
In the same race for girls 16 to 19 years, British School of Kampala Rafters reigned supreme, thanks to Charlotte Sanford (31:23).
Karimah Katemba of Aga Khan High School played second fiddle with 34:64 whilst Bilquis Nabukenya (Green Hill Academy Kibuli) was third placed with 33:37.




Green Hill Academy Kibuli had a 1-2 finish in the boy’s 12 to 15 years category for the 50m butterfly.
Joshua Mandre and Elijah Wamala finished first and second with times of 30:70 and 31:06 respectively.
Ryan Manisa (Seroma Christian High School) followed suit in third place with 32:04.
16 to 19 years docket for boys belonged to Pendo Kaumi (Vine International School) with 27:56.
Tebi Nyanzi (Aga Khan High School) took silver after posting 27:80 and Akram Lubega (Lubiri SS) with 27:86.

Commissioner of Physical Education and Sports Rev Canon Dr Duncans Mugumya was chief guest.
He was flanked by the members of the USSSA Executive committee led by the president Justus Mugisha and CEO Christopher Mugisha Banage.
