Uganda Gazelles captain Jane Asinde has made a major career move, joining Spanish top-flight side Ensino Lugo CB.
The former JKL Lady Dolphins forward heads to Europe barely four months after joining Chinese side Henan Phoenix.
The move follows an impressive performance at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket Zone V Qualifiers earlier this month at which she was named the MVP.

The 25-year-old is set to travel to Las Palmas immediately to join her new team and could make her debut on Sunday against Gran Canaria.
Asinde takes a wealth of experience to Ensino Lugo CB from Wichita State University and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in the NCCA and most recently, Henan Phoenix in China.
