·       Vipers SC Vs Wakiso Giants FC, St. Mary’s Stadium-Kitende (7:00pm) Live on Sanyuka Prime TV.

Kitara will hope to react to defeat to BUL by bouncing back against bogey side and neighbours Mbarara City at Butema.

The Royals saw their ten-match unbeaten streak ended in the last outing and victory against the Ankole Lions is a must for Wasswa Bbosa’s men.

However, their record against Livingstone Mbabazi’s is worrying as they have never beaten them in four league matches.

Mbarara City won the first ever league meeting in 2021 and the successive fixtures have ended in stalemates.

Former Mbarara City players Jude Ssemugabi and Jasper Aheebwa, Solomon Okwalinga among others turn guns against their former pay masters.

The visitors are winless in their last three league outings and drew goalless with Soltilo Bright Stars at Kakyeka in their last game.

With 21 points, they are just seven points ahead of relegation zone and so need to collect more points to run away from the relegation monster.

In other matches on the day, table leaders Vipers host Wakiso Giants under the lights at Kitende, Villa make a trip to Kavumba where Soltilo Bright Stars is lurking, BUL host URA while Maroons welcome second placed NEC to Luzira.
