Buddo Secondary School overcame Bugisu zone champions Bugisu High School from Mbale 3-0 during a round of 32 contest played at the Ngora High School 1 playground on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

Owen Mukisa finished from close range in a seemingly off-side position as early as the second minute to set the ball rolling for Buddo SS.
Denis Kisambira then added the second on the half hour mark as Richard Malinga’s side led 2-0 heading to the mandatory half time break.

Kisambira returned with his second on the day and would have easily notched a hattrick had he been sharper.
Mukisa was stretched off and driven for further medicare in an ambulance during the first half when he collided with a Bugisu High School player.

Teso zone representatives Amus College and Ngora High School joined Standard High School Zzana among the big names ejected at the stage of 32.
Amus College School painfully bowed out to Green Light Islamic School 4-3 in post-match penalties after normal time had failed to produce any goal.
Hosts Ngora High School lost to the reigning champions St Julian High School 4-1 in post-match penalties after 0-0 in regulation time.
Standard High School Zzana and the sister institution Standard High School Ndejje Campus also got eliminated.
Uganda Martyrs’ Lubaga edged the Ndejje campus 2-0 with goals from Ali Shaban and Andrew Lukyamuzi.
Other results:
Multiple champions Kibuli S.S overcame Buziga Islamic School 4-1.
Ahmed Kintu scored twice as Kibesi Wasswa and Eclasi Kawalya also netting a goal apiece for Kibuli SS.
Juma Walum got the consolation for Buziga Islamic school.
Kawempe Muslim advanced to the round of 16 courtesy of a 4-0 win over Kisozi Seed.
St. Mary’s Boarding School Kitende defeated Bishop Comboni College 3-0, the same scoreline that Masaka SS ejected Kabalega SS with.
Wakiso zone’s Kyadondo SS edged Lake Side Masese 2-1.
Musa Nviri and the usual suspect Thomas Ogema were on target for Kyadondo SS.
Busho Kakeeto netted for Lake Side Masese to give a gallant fight.
Mentor SS pipped St Kagwa High School Bushenyi 1-0, the same scoreline that Blessed Sacrament Kimanya had over MUMSA High School Mityana.
Determined by post-match penalties:
Four matches were decided by post-match penalty kicks.
Jinja Comprehensive School, coached by Isaac Ozil Kitakule beat Masaka zone’s Wagwa High School 2-1.
Normal time was one-goal apiece with Akisam Ssegawa opening the scoring business for Jinja Comprehensive School as Mahad Mubiru got a last-minute gasp equalizer for Wagwa High School via a decent free-kick.
In the dramatic-cum-tense shoot out, George Ikwgati and Shadrack Namukowa scored for Jinja Comprehensive whilst Dieu Kanira got the only goal for Wagwa High.
Walter Okello and Emmanuel Gugulu missed for the Jinja based school, as Abdul Ssekajugo, Musa Ssuuna and Joseph Kizza missed for Wagwa High.
Green Light Islamic ejected Amus College School 4-3 in post-match penalties after a non-scoring stalemate in normal time.
Bukedea Comprehensive School, coached by Ronald Ssali eliminated Ceaser Okhuti’s Mvara SS 5-4 in penalties after another goal-less draw.
Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) won 3-2 in penalties over Standard High School Zzana after yet another goal-less draw in normal time.
The round of 16 duels will be played on Sunday, 11th May 2025.
