The 2025 Bika Bya Baganda Football Championship will climax on Saturday, 7th June at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
Shield holders Ngabi Nsamba, led by former Uganda Cranes international Sula “Malouda” Matovu and Viane Ssekajugo, will take on Ndiga in the final.
I thank my fellow teammates, coaches, clan leaders and the fans, all who have pushed us. We are eyeing a successful title defence.

Ndiga is led by veteran former Uganda Cranes forwards Geofrey Sserunkuma, Daniel “Muzeeyi” Sserunkuma and Simon Sserunkuma.
It has been a good roll coaster of a tournament. We tackled game by game until the final. I thank every stakeholder who has been pertinent.

Before the final match, the third-place play-off match will be between Kkobe and Nsenene.
Ndiga eliminated Nsenene 4-2 on post-match penalties after normal time had ended goalless.
In shootouts, coach player Fred Nkata, who came on in added time, stepped on to smash the first penalty over the bar, and the team went on to fail in finding a way back.

Ndiga scored all four penalties taken with Dennis Kisiriko Luzige and Dan Sserunkuuma netting the last two that completed the task, as Ashraf Kalanzi hit Nsenene’s fourth spot on the woodwork.
Ngabi Nsamba also defeated Kkoobe 4-2 on penalties with Viane Ssekajugo scoring the winning penalty after Mike Kayongo failed to convert.
Ndiga has one trophy to their name, won in 2022, and will thus be eyeing their second title.
Ngabi Nsamba is targeting their sixth, having won in 1951, 1987, 2007, 2013 and lately 2024.
With nine (9) titles to their name, Mmamba Gabunga has the most trophies won.
If all goes according to plan, His Majesty the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II will grace the closing ceremony.
