Wasswa Bbosa says he will only coach Express FC again if he grey-haired.

The tactician who won the league with the Red Eagles in 2020/21 and also the CECAFA Kagame Cup has been at the helm of the side on several times.

Speaking to Pitchside with Peter Tabu, Bbosa said; “I have coached Express several times and been fired as many but at the moment, I told myself never to return to the club until my head is all white (grey-haired).”

Bbosa who spent last season at Kitara also hinted at missed opportunities to coach beyond the borders revealing he was a target for Azam and Tusker at one time.

“My only remaining dream as a coach to get a job outside Uganda,” he said. “Sadly, I got two opportunities – one at Azam in Tanzania and Tusker in Kenya but couldn’t get the job because I didn’t have CAF A qualification and my pleas to get a chance to study it then fell to deaf ears,” he added.

The former SC Villa, Soana and Gaddafi coach also commended Fufa for hiring local coaches Fred Muhumuza and Morley Byekwaso to manage the Uganda Cranes although he believes Sam Ssimbwa should have been part of the staff.

“It is nice that Fufa has trusted local coaches although I feel Ssimbwa being a senior should have been part of it. But I wish them well and I believe they will do well.”

Bbosa is currently a free agent after his contract with Kitara expired but admits he is in talks with the club over renewal.
