Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the match schedule (fixtures) for the forthcoming 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The schedule entails dates, times when games will be played right from the group stage up to the final.

The tournament will kickoff on Saturday, 2nd August 2025 with Tanzania taking on Burkina Faso at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Tanzania is one of the co-hosts of the biennial tournament alongside Neighbours Uganda and Kenya.

For Uganda’s case, the Cranes who are pooled in Group C will kickstart the tournament against last edition’s hosts and finalists Algeria. The game will be played on Monday 4th August (8PM EAT) at Mandela National Stadium. The same day, Niger would played Guinea earlier on.

The other games for Uganda Cranes will come as follows;

8th August 2025 -Guinea vs Uganda 8pm EAT

11th August 2025 – Uganda vs Niger 8pm EAT

18th August 2025 – South Africa vs Uganda 8pm EAT

The Group Stage will run up to 19th August with the quarterfinal games played between 22nd -23rd August.

In addition to the Group C games, Mandela National Stadium will host one quarterfinal game, one semifinal clash and the third place play-off.

The semifinals will be played on 26th, the third place playoff will come on 29th August while the final will take place a day later at Moi International Sports Centre-Kasarani.
