Uganda Premier League club Vipers have confirmed the signing of Liberian forward Mark Yallah.
After the leaking of the forward’s photos, Vipers have confirmed the acquisition of the Liberian forward via the club’s official website.
“In a bid to bolster the attacking options, StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions and Uganda Cup winners, Vipers SC, have completed the signing of Liberian international forward Mark Yallah,” the statement partly reads.
Yallah has signed a three-year employment contract, becoming the first signing of the Kitende-based team in the current transfer window.
“I want to write my name in the club’s history,” Yallah noted before adding; “I am ready to give my best and score goals that will help the team make a statement on the continent, win trophies and make the fans proud.”
According to Vipers, Yallah had a splendid 2024/25 campaign, scoring 20 goals to finish as the second top scorer in the Liberian top tier.
In the bid to get a slot in the CAF Champions League groups, Yallah will have to get firing quickly as the club prepares for the global tournament.
