In the bid to cement their position in the Uganda Premier League, Gaddafi has entrusted football purist Abdallah Mubiru to lead their project moving forward.
After spending one year in the FUFA Big League, Mubiru is excited to be part of Gaddafi’s project in the top tier for the next two years.
“This is more than just a job, it’s a project with vision. Gaddafi is a club with history, character and passionate supporters,” the gaffer noted.
“I’m here to build a team that plays with purpose, discipline and identity. With the right support, we can write a new, proud chapter in the club’s legacy,” the gaffer added.
In the same spirit, Gaddafi Club President, Joseph Opio Okurut, has emphasised that the club is committed to building a sustainable footballing model.
“We are committed to building a sustainable footballing model rooted in discipline, identity and ambition. This appointment is part of the long-term vision,” Okurut said.
“Coach Mubiru brings the experience, professionalism and values that align perfectly with what we believe in as a team,” he added.
Mubiru is expected to announce his technical bench, and reports suggest that he plans to work with Kefa Kisala and Livingstone Mbabazi.
