The opening round of the first ever ISF World School Golf Championship swings off at the picturesque Royal Golf Dar Es Salam course in Rabat city, Morocco on Wednesday, 16th July 2025.

Two Uganda junior golfers Racheal Laura Natukunda (Nyakasura school) and Damian Asiimwe (St Julian High School Gayaza) will join the other youngsters from the rest of the world for round one.

The two Ugandans under coach Isaiah Mwesige had a great practice round off the lavish fairways and greens on Tuesday.

“The practice round was good. The players had a feel of the course which is in perfect course. We have a strategy as round one tees off and we shall stick to that” Mwesige remarked.

Ten minutes later, at 9:40 am, another Ugandan, Natukunda (handicap 11) will drive off in match five with Morocco’s Hicham Rachidi and Serbian Elena Andjelkovic.

USSSA executive committee member Richard Muhumuza and president Justus Mugisha are also in Morocco and will surely be part of the gallery to rally the players.

For starters, this is the inaugural edition of the ISF Golf world schools championship, featuring both U-18 and U-15 age clusters for boys and girls.

Wednesday, 16th July 2025 will also host the official gala dinner.

Thursday, 17th July 2025 has round two. The cultural and Nations’ night festivities will be on July 18th 2025.

Round three will be on 19th July 2025 before completion of round four on the 20th July 2025.
