Cricket Cranes remained perfect in the Pearl of Africa T20 Series after picking a 28-run win over Kenya on Monday afternoon.
Captaining his third game of the tournament, Juma Miyagi won the toss and elected to bat.
Shrideep Mangela and Ronald Lutaaya fell inside the power play in which the Cricket Cranes struggled to score but thereafter, Raghav Dhawan (41) and Robinson Obuya (40) established the innings before Obuya was caught with 106 on the board.
Dhawan followed shortly but a blitz from skipper Miyagi (19) and Donesh Nakrani (24) pushed the total to a competitive 157/5.
In the defense, veteran Frank Nsubuga bowled the dangerous Dhiren Gondaria and trapped Tanzeel Sheikh lbw in the second over and Kenya were quickly put on the back foot.
The dismissal of Pushkar Sharma had Kenya three wickets down inside the four overs, and the asking rate mid-innings was at 10.
Rakep Patel (58) and Sachin Gill (30) stayed around for Kenya with some good hitting to Kenya in the game but once Cosmas Kyewuta got rid of them, the game was all done as the neighbours ran out of resources with 28 runs required.
