The Los Angeles Lakers have officially signed Arthur Kaluma.

Kaluma joins the Lakers after having a successful Summer League with the 17-time NBA Champions.

Kaluma played three Summer League games, logging 12 minutes a game and shooting an impressive 45% from the field.

The Uganda international begins his professional career, having played four collegiate seasons at three schools – Creighton, Kansas State and the University of Texas.

At the University of Texas, where he played his final year of college, he averaged 12.3 points and 7.5 rebounds with the Longhorns.

The 6’7 power forward played two seasons at Creighton, where he played in the Elite 8 in 2023, and one at Kansas State.

Kaluma has represented Uganda at the 2021 AfroBasket and the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
