FUFA Women Super League side Kawempe Muslim has confirmed the signing of Nakasi Latifah.

Latifah’s arrival at Kawempe Muslim highly boosts its attacking line ahead of a highly anticipated campaign.

Kawempe’s technical bench will feel relieved after getting Nakasi’s signature since she is a player they have chased since July last year.

Switching from Uganda Martyrs, Nakasi brings experience and leadership, thus immensely boosting their attacking line.

Nakasi has also been recently deployed in the middle park by Crested Cranes head coach Sheryl Botes in the Crested Cranes.

Her ability to play in different positions will be a good addition to Kawempe’s evolving squad.

In the previous campaign, Kawempe struggled to find goals and the acquisition of Nakasi is testament that they want to put their wrongs right.

In the same breath, Kawempe recently added Aminah Nakato and Asia Nakibuka to further glue up their defence.

Kawempe Muslim has been busy in the transfer market since tying a knot with Uganda Premier League side, Vipers SC.
