The highly anticipated encounter between She Maroons FC and She Corporate ended with no winner as the two sides settled for a goalless draw in Luzira on Sunday.

The two teams came into matchday two on the back of a flying start to the new season. The Prison Sentries dispatched Asubo Ladies 5-0 while She Corporate had swept side Uganda Martyrs Lubaga 4-1 in Njeru. Therefore, the anticipation for many that this game would produce a number of goals.

However, this was not the case as the closely contested game ended in a barren stalemate.

To the contrary, the thrilling game between Uganda Martyrs Lubaga ended in a two-all draw.

Nusurah Nakintu fired Lubaga into an early lead, scoring in the 4th minute to send the fans into celebrations.

However, visitors Amus College fought back through Edina Wanda who bagged a brace. She first level matters in the 36th minute before firing her side into the lead, four minutes after the break.

The hosts were able to find the equalizer in the 56th minute and despite efforts from either side to claim all three points, the game eventually ended in a draw.

In the other game played on Sunday, New comers St. Noa under the stewardship of coach Tony Mawejje secured their first win, edging Lady Doves 3-2 at Wankulukuku.

Dorcus Lwalisa, Patricia Nayiga and Esther Babirye got the goals for St. Noa while Irene Nantege and Resty Kobusobozi scored for Lady Doves.
