Newly promoted outfit earned their first win of the season, after overcoming Lady Doves FC on Sunday at Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

The School side nearly got a win on matchday one away to Amus College but they conceded a late equalizer for the game to end 1-1.

This time, they held onto their lead for nearly the entire second half to claim a 3-2 victory.

Consequently, this was the first win for new gaffer Tony Mawejje who joined the team before the start of the season. He is deputized by another former Uganda Cranes player in Vincent Kayizzi.

St. Noa took the lead in the 17th minute through new signing Dorcus Lwalisa. However, Lady Doves were able to level matters ten minutes later through midfielder Irene Nantege.

The visitors would also go on to take the lead before the break with last season’s top goalscorer Resty Kobusobozi opening her account this campaign.

St. Noa returned a changed side after recess and Patrica Nayiga restored parity just upon restart before Esther Babirye Nabuuso got the eventual winning goal in the 52nd minute.

They held on for the remaining minutes to claim all three points and move joint top on the pile alongside Kampala Queens, Kawempe Muslim, She Maroons and She Corporate who all have four points.
