The second edition of the Mental Health Awareness Sports Gala was successfully held at the City High School playground in Kampala.
This tranquil gala was held under the theme; “Prioritizing Mental Health in Workplaces”, organized by the Gracy Minds Empowerment Initiative Uganda.


By close of business after grueling and mouthwatering action, Blossoms of Hope Foundation, a youth led NGO with a mission of uplifting lives of the less privileged emerged victorious to take home the coveted trophy, gold medals and Ug.Shs 1,000,000 cash prize.
The victors overcame Psalms Food Industries Limited in an explosive finale. The two finalists emerged from the wholesome pool of over 20 teams which competed.




For starters, Blossoms of Hope Foundation fronts skilling, provision of education and charity; and have recently been so vibrant in different mental health awareness campaigns.
Omona Mercy Gracy, an official at Gracy Minds Empowerment Initiative Uganda hailed the teams, players and officials who graced the gala.
In the same vein, Omona was humbled by the support of the different sponsors, partners, supporters and stakeholders whose helping hand in a way or another can never be taken for granted.

Your passion, energy, and support not only created an unforgettable experience but also amplified the message that sports can be a powerful platform for mental health awareness.
