Overview:
This year, this is the second victory for Kamulindwa after the triumph in the Watoto championship played in Kampala.
David Kamulindwa won the 2025 Entebbe Golf Open in the professional category.
Kamulindwa played 7-under-277 in four rounds played at the lakeside par-71 Entebbe club.

He opened the day with a 5-under-66 during the opening round, bettering with 6-under-65 on the subsequent day.
The third round was greyish with +6 (77) and wound down with 2-under-69 for the final round.
Overall, Kamulindwa hit 19 birdies, 42 pars, 10 bogies and 1 double bogie in the championship, where Abraham Ainamani was the runner-up.

Kamulindwa was grateful for the performance as he envisages this victory as a breath of life to his career.
“I am happy for the victory attained during the Stanbic Entebbe Open,” he hinted.

“Last year, I missed victory by a single shot. It has been done through hard work. I am playing well and happy with my game,” the calm young professional golfer highlighted.
Kamulindwa cites the collective team effort of his management team, including a team of coaches who have shaped up his game.


“I am humbled by the input of my coaches, especially the mental classes and the game management lessons. They have been so helpful.
“Of course, I do a lot of physical exercises, including daily running, range (driving), putting and practice on the fairways. I look forward to more successful tournaments,” the former national player who enjoyed a lion’s share of the Ugx. 20,000,000 prize money kitty added.

Herman Deco Mutebi (285), Grace Kasango (285), Rodell Tadeo Gaita (285), Canary Kabise (288), Marvin Kibirige (290), Emma Ogwang (291), James Koto (293), Vicent Byamukama (293), Phillip Kasozi (293) and Silver Opio (293) all occupied the top 13 positions.
In the amateur category, Joseph Cwinya-ai came top with a total gross of 210 (-3) ahead of John Musimenta with 219 (+3), played in three rounds.
