Buhimba United Saints FC suffered their first defeat of the season, after falling to BUL FC on Thursday at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
The newly promoted side had made a perfect start to the season, winning all their first three games. However, today was a baptism of fire for Buhimba United, losing 3-0 to the Eastern Giants.
Ibra Mugulusi, Seiri Arigumaho and Jerome Kirya scored for BUL, all three goals coming in the first half.
Mugulusi opened the scoring in the 16th minute before new signing Arigumaho doubled the lead two minutes after the half-hour mark.
Kirya got the third goal four minutes before the break to complete a brilliant performance.
Despite getting better in the second half, Buhimba could not find the comeback because the damage had already been done.
Despite the result, Buhimba remain top of the table on nine points, one ahead of BUL FC.
