Reigning Caf Champions League holders Pyramids will face Morocco’s RS Berkane, Rivers United and Zambia’s Power Dynamos, a side that ousted Uganda’s Vipers SC in group A of the 2025/26 edition.
The match between Pyramids and RS Berkane will be a repeat of the CAF Super Cup this year which the Egyptian side just edged a fortnight ago.
This follows a draw held in Johannesburg on Monday November 3, 2025 by African legends Alexander Song and Christopher Katongo.
Record winners Al Ahly of Egypt will face Tanzania’s Young Africans, AS FAR of Morocco and JS Kabylie of Algeria in group B.
Former champions Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), home of Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Denis Onyango are drawn in group C alongside Al Hilal of Sudan, MC Alger of Algeria and St. Loi Lupopo of DR Congo while group D has Esperance de Tunis of Tunisia, Simba of Tanzania, home to Steven Mukwala, Atletico Petroleos (Angola) and Stade de Malien of Mali.
