The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the seedings and draw procedure for the 2025/16 TotalEnergies Caf Confederation Cup group stages.
The draw, slated for Monday November 3, 2025 will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa at 2pm (East African Time).
Sixteen (16) clubs have advanced from the second preliminary round and will be engaged in the group stage draw where they will be divided into four groups of four teams (Groups A-D).
The teams have been seeded based on their performance in CAF interclub competitions over the past five seasons.
Below are the detailed seedings & draw procedures:
POT 1
Teams: Zamalek SC (EGY), Wydad AC (MAR), USM Alger (ALG), CR Belouizdad (ALG)
Draw Procedure:
- The 1st ball drawn will go directly to Group A – Position A1
- The 2nd ball drawn will go directly to Group B – Position B1
- The 3rd ball drawn will go directly to Group C – Position C1
- The 4th ball drawn will go directly to Group D – Position D1
POT 2
Teams: Stellenbosch FC (RSA), Al Masry SC (EGY), AS Maniema Union (RDC), Djoliba AC de Bamako (MLI)
Draw Procedure:
- The 1st ball drawn will go directly to Group A – Position A2
- The 2nd ball drawn will go directly to Group B – Position B2
- The 3rd ball drawn will go directly to Group C – Position C2
- The 4th ball drawn will go directly to Group D – Position D2
POT 3
Teams: Kaizer Chiefs FC (RSA), AS Otoho (CGO)
Draw Procedure:
- The 1st ball drawn will go directly to Group C – Position C3
- The 2nd ball drawn will go directly to Group D – Position D3
POT 4
Teams: FC San Pedro (CIV), Nairobi United FC (KEN), Olympique Club de Safi (MAR), Azam FC (TAN), Singida Black Stars (TAN), Zesco United (ZAM)
- The 1st ball drawn will go directly to Group A – Position A4
- The 2nd ball drawn will go directly to Group B – Position B4
- The 3rd ball drawn will go directly to Group C – Position C4
- The 4th ball drawn will go directly to Group D – Position D4
- The 5th ball drawn will go directly to Group A – Position A3
- The 6th ball drawn will go directly to Group B – Position B3
