KCCA defender Enock Walusimbi has opened up about his transition at the Lugogo-based side after switching from URA FC.

Walusimbi has smoothly found a slot in the KCCA starting lineup, playing four of the five games played thus far.

Speaking to the club media about his early days at the club, Walusimbi revealed that the quick connection with his teammates has made his transition into the team easy.

“I am settling in very well at the club. When I came in, I found a good number of players who are my friends, and it has been easy for me to adapt here,” Walusimbi was quoted by the club’s website.

“There is hard work and competition here. We are a family, and it is very important. It does not matter if someone has not played or not; there is love and motivation from one another,” he added.

According to the former Express captain, the environment at the club has contributed significantly to the team’s bond and helped each player become fully engaged, thereby enabling the club to attain its goal.

Looking ahead, Walusimbi is motivated and has set his target clearly, prioritising both his club and personal career.

“I want to play more games, keep more clean sheets, win matches and win silverware for the club this season,” he concluded.
