Uganda Premier League side NEC FC has announced Kaddu Badru Mukasa as their new head coach after putting pen on a three-year employment contract.

The announcement was made in a statement released via the club’s official social media handles on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

“We are delighted to announce that Kaddu Badru Mukasa is joining the club as our head coach,” the statement partly reads.

According to the Bugolobi-based side, Kaddu will be leaving Express, bringing a wealth of experience, tactical acumen and a proven winning mentality to NEC.

The announcement comes shortly after NEC parted ways with Hussein Mbalangu, who was the club’s head coach for two years and two weeks.

Mbalangu was relieved from his duties after a suspension which he was cautioned for unprofessionalism and misconduct.
