Calvary FC suffered loss on their maiden Uganda Premier League at home in Yumbe. The newly promoted outfit endured a 4-2 defeat to fellow newcomers Entebbe UPPC FC on Friday.
Despite the coming on matchday six, Calvary had not played at their home turf, Midigo Primary School Playground. They had instead visited Lugazi FC, Buhimba United Saints FC, Maroons FC and most recently KCCA FC.
The return home was however disappointing with Entebbe UPPC having a field day despite the first half being cagey. Samuel Junior Kawawa opened the scoring, firing Entebbe into the lead in the 37th minute.
The second half started with a heavy downpour which eventually also came with goals. Hassan Ssenyonjo doubled the visitors lead, five minutes after restart.
Calvary however were able to pull one back two minutes later through John Rogers.
Ambrose Kigozi and Muhammad Kyeyune added a goal each for Entebbe before Lawrence Olaboro got another consolation for the hosts, scoring from the spot.
Calvary remain winless after five games and are rooted to the base of the pile on one point while Entebbe UPPC move to fourth place on ten points.
