2025 Islamic Solidarity Games (Swimming)
50M Freestyle (Women – Final):
- Gold: Gloria Anna Muzito (Uganda) – 25:59
- Silver: Farida Hisham A. Osman (Egypt) – 26:04
- Bronze: Nadia Aisha Nurazmi (Indonesia) – 26:18
On Sunday, 9th November 2025, Uganda’s National Anthem was played in the Saudi Arabian city of Riyadh at the Prince Faisal bin Fahad Olympic Complex Swimming pool.
This was in honour of the gold medal won by swimmer Anna Gloria Muzito in the 50M Freestyle women’s final.

Racing in lane four, Muzito powered her way to the gold with a time of 25 seconds and 59 microseconds, improving her previous record by 7 microseconds.
“I am so happy for this medal won. It has been hard work and I thank my coaches,” Muzito, who dedicated the medal to her family, remarked.

During the heat, Muzito came top with a time of 25:77, improving to 25:58 in the semifinals.
Egyptian Farida Hisham A. Osman earned silver with a time of 26:04, whilst Nadia Aisha Nurazmi (Indonesia) finished third to take bronze with 26:18.

This is the second medal for Uganda at these games after boxer Alfred Ojok, who scooped bronze in the light heavyweight category (80 Kg).
Uganda is represented in boxing, swimming, wrestling, athletics, weightlifting, para-powerlifting and Table Tennis.
In total, Uganda has 39 athletes from the 7 sports disciplines.
