Rogers Mato and Aziz Kayondo are two Uganda Cranes players who have been ruled out of the upcoming international friendlies.
The big blow comes in ahead of the two friends as Uganda Cranes prepare to lock horns with Chad and Morocco.
The quick-footed Mato suffered a knock as FK Vardar secured a 3-1 victory against Tikvesh in the Macedonian First Football League.
According to the reports from Macedonia, Mato is expected to be out for four weeks which is a big blow as Uganda Cranes prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
In the same breath, Aziz Kayondo suffered a concussion injury as he landed awkwardly from a duel as FC Slovan Liberec thumped Karvina in a 6-0 victory.
The duo has been electric on the left flank and their absence will leave the Belgian gaffer Paul Put with more questions than answers.
