For the heroics, he was considered as the most outstanding golfer, coming ahead of professional David Kamulindwa (winner at Kinyara and Equity opens) as well as Meron Kyomugisha (Kinyara and Kakira winner).

“I applaud the organizers of these awards; Fortebet and Jude Colour Solution who are the sponsors. I am humbled to win, and I want to return in January 2026 as a champion again” Cwinya-ai remarked as he picked the accolade at Lazio Italian Bar and Restaurant in Kololo on Tuesday, 9th December.

Sadly, in the same month, Cwinya-ai was ignored for national team duty as the team traveled for the Africa Region IV championship in Madagascar.

Meanwhile, Masaka Sunshine Football Club and Uganda Cubs (national U-17) striker James Bogere won in football, overcoming teammate Hamuza Ssengooba and Kawempe Muslims goalkeeper Saidat Namwanje.

“Bogere is a team player and always works hard. As teammates, we are humbled for his achievements” teammate Elvis Opakrwoth hinted.
