Lugazi held SC Villa in a frustrating goalless draw in the Uganda Premier League encounter at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba on Saturday.
Off a commanding 6-1 victory against Mbarara City, the Jogoo came into this game steady and motivated to pick another big result.
However, Simon Peter Mugerwa and his troops did everything possible to ensure that they frustrated SC Villa and picked a golden point.
The visitors suffered a big blow early in the first half after Derrick Mwanje was lifted off the field of play due to an injury and was replaced by Solomon Okwalinga.

SC Villa created several chances but were not sharp enough as Frank Ssebufu failed to guide the ball into the back of the net on several occasions.
Out of desperation, SC Villa introduced Charles Lwanga onto the pitch to have more bodies in Lugazi’s box, but the backline was up to the challenge.
SC Villa lie fourth on the log with 30 points in 15 games, while Lugazi sit 11th with 15 points in as many games.
