The Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 for the 2026 edition commenced with various games at different stadia across the country.

Western regional entity Six O’clock eliminated Mbale Heroes 1-0.

Mbale Heroes is now playing in the second division league after being relegated last season.

They boast of two Uganda Cup titles in 1976 and 1999.

Six O’Clock qualifies to the round of 32 stage alongside other clubs as Mbarara City, Vipers, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Express, UPDF and Bul.

BUL clobbered Agape 7-0 during a one-sided contest to record the biggest victory of the competition so far.

Karim Ndugwa led the assault with four goals to his name. Seiri Arigumaho added a hat-trick for the convincing win on the road.

Vipers on the other hand grit their teeth to tame Northern Gateway 1-0 in Gulu courtesy of Chekumwa’s goal.

Mbarara City recovered from a goal down to outwit Busia Young Stars 2-1 in Busia.

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) beat St George 2-0 in Fort Portal.

Emmmanuel Anyama and Ivan Ambisibwe were on target for the Kasasiro lads.

Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) edged Nsambya 2-1 at the YES Center stadium in Kampala.

Express came from a goal down over Packwach Young Stars to force post-match penalties that the Red Eagles won 7-6 and advance to the round of 32 stage.

The round of 64 continues on Friday, 5th February 2026.

The winner of the Stanbic Uganda Cup qualifies to represent the country at the CAF Confederation Cup.
