Seven schools were drawn in the 7th edition of the USSSA Elite Championship due to take place at Janan Secondary School, Bombo (27th February to 1st March 2026).
The host school (Janan Secondary School, Bombo) is joined by the country’s top netballing schools St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende and Buddo Secondary School.
The others include Fort Portal S.S, St Francis Busunju, Namagabi S.S and Namungo Seed Secondary School.
The draws for netball and the rest of the games were drawn at the GNS Plaza in Mengo on Wednesday, 25th February 2026 by the USSSA officials.
“Netball will be played on a round robin basis with the top school after all the games winning the championship” Emmanuel Kasakya, the USSSA competitions director remarked.

Kasakya was flanked by other officials; Godlive Apolot, Alfred Okanya, Ayub Khalifa and Bosco Omario during the tranquil draws also broadcast on the USSSA official You-Tube channel.

The schools report to Janan S.S Bombo on Thursday, 26th February 2026 before the first meeting.
Competitions commence on Friday, 27th February and will climax by Sunday, 1st March 2026.
The USSSA Elite Championship is a preparatory tournament for schools ahead of the grueling season for schools’ sports championship.
This championship has been played since 2019.
