Following an abysmal show in the current campaign, URA has made some changes in the squad with four new signings and eight players let go.

Moses Waiswa has already been unveiled as first official signing joining on a two-year contract as a free agent after leaving Vipers SC.

“We are delighted to welcome Moses Waiswa to URA FC on a two-year deal,” the club announced.

“An experienced and versatile midfielder with a winning mentality, Waiswa joins as our first mid-season signing and is ready to hit the ground running,” he added.

Although not unveiled yet, the club has also signed former U20 international Derrick Kakooza, ex-Wakiso Giants captain Rahmat Ssenfuka and left back Disan Galiwango.

In order to create space for the four, the four-time champions have released four players mainly on loan.

Former Bright Stars captain Nelson Senkantuka and left back Shafik Lugolobi have reportedly joined Express FC on loan, Kabon Living permanently returned to Kitara while Amis Bwangani and Faisal are loaned to Iganga United where they have been playing as double licensed players.

Midfielders Laban Tibita and Abrahim Tusubira are reportedly set to join Entebbe UPPC on loan as well.
