Following an impressive trial period, Gabon midfielder Axel Mezui Me Nkili has joined KCCA from Canon 105.
The 6.2ft midfielder has signed a two-year contract and four months contract that will run until the end of the 2027/28 season.
He is one of the foreign legion that has been undergoing trials Lugogo for the few weeks.
Speaking to the club website, Mezui said; “I am incredibly happy and proud to join KCCA FC, a club with such a rich history and ambitious future.
“I have heard great things about the club, the fans, and the league. I am eager to get started, meet my new teammates, and contribute my best to help the team achieve its goals and bring more silverware to Lugogo.”
Mezui can operate as a 10 and can also ably lead the forward line. He is also a viable option for dead balls.
He officially becomes the club’s first signing in the mid-season window.
He could make his debut against Buhimba United Saints next week at Royal Park, Butema as the Kasasiro aim to keep pace with leaders Vipers who are five points adrift.
