The tables have turned at Kyadondo, and there’s a new landlord in town, the Victoria Sharks.

For long, Heathens has been the most dominant force at Swampunu, but one of their two losses this season has come at home against Buffaloes, another Kyadondo side.

That 12-07 loss must be a wake-up call for the Heathens, who so badly need a victory to lift their spirits before a tough Enterprise Cup quarterfinal weekend.

Up next, the Victoria Sharks host Heathens in familiar territory, hoping to continue their streak of wins after that emphatic 37-08 victory over the Kakira Simbas.

The Sharks are currently in dreamland, sitting second on the Uganda Rugby championship table, joint on points and points difference with the table leaders, Black Pirates.

Injuries to Matthew Musasizi and Joshua Kafugakande have ruled them out of this fixture, creating a void to be filled by Marvin Asaba and the veteran Aziz Khan, respectively.

The Sharks squad is intact and has started to build chemistry, a cause for worry for their opponents on Saturday.

Whether coach Tolbert Onyango makes more changes to his squad for the fixture or reverts to the tried and tested that beat the Pirates, could determine how the game goes.
