KCCA reached the quarter final of the Stanbic Uganda Cup after a comprehensive 5-0 win over Onduparaka at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday.
Emmanuel Anyama got a brace on the day with Said Mayanja, Alex Yiga and Sammy Ssebaduka scoring a goal each.
The record joint holders, last season’s finalists, were the better side on the night and fully deserved their victory.
The Kasasiro now remain on course for a league and cup double as they trail league leaders Vipers by five points with nine match rounds left.
They join lower league side Happy Boys FC Kagaba and NEC, who eliminated Six O’clock and Lugazi, respectively.
On Wednesday, action in the competition will continue with Vipers hosting Iganga United at Kitende and Kitara at home to Bunyaruguru.
