Pepsi University Football League (UFL) 2025/26:

Semifinals:

  • Tuesday, 7th April 2026: Kampala University Vs YMCA Comprehensive Institute – FUFA Kadiba stadium
  • Thursday, 9th April 2026: Muteesa 1 Royal University Vs St Lawrence University – Masaka

The 2025/26 Pepsi University Football League (UFL) semi-finals will be held effective next week.

The draw for the four semi-finalists was held on Good Friday, 3rd April 2026 at Kati Kati Restaurant, Kampala under the supervision of officials from Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS).

The semi-finals will be played over two legs with the winner on aggregate making it to the final.

Kampala University hosts YMCA Comprehensive Institute at FUFA Kadiba Stadium on Tuesday, 7th April 2026 in the first leg.

“We are unfazed about YMCA Comprehensive Institute. My players and technical staff are set for action” Martha Soigi, sports tutor at Kampala University stated.

Muteesa 1 Royal University hosts St Lawrence University on Thursday, 8th April 2026 during the first leg.

A new champion awaits to be crowned after the winners in 2025, Uganda Martyrs University (UMU), Nkozi were eliminated by Muteesa 1 Royal University.

The Pepsi University Football League is organized by Red Rhino Group, funded by Crown Beverages Limited under the Pepsi brand.

For all the different years, this league has garnered popularity for the ability to give talented university students a viable platform to showcase and nurture their football talents through a competitive environment.

In the same spirit, a number of coaches, administrators, media personalities and passionate fans have been groomed through this league.

This league is played by players below the age of 26 years and they have to be active enrolled students at the different universities in the box.

Quarter final (2nd Leg Results):

  • YMCA Comprehensive 1-0 Kumi University (*YMCA Comprehensive qualified 2-1 on aggregate)
  • Ndejje University 0-3 St Lawrence University (*St Lawrence University qualified 5-1 on aggregate)
  • Muteesa 1 Royal University 1-0 Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi (Muteesa 1 Royal University qualified on away goal’s rule after 2-all aggregate score)
  • Bugema University 0-0 Kampala University (Kampala University qualified after 1-1 aggregate score, on away goal’s rule)
