Crested Cranes forward Zaina Namuleme is a target of several clubs as her contract at Kenya Police Bullets comes to an end.
The versatile player is a key figure at the Thika-based side outfit since joining them last year but she continues to attract the attention of several clubs as her contract expires in July. She has so far scored four goals and assisted on six occasions this season.
Kenya Police has already shown interest in renewing her contract, but there are several clubs from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and across Europe that have approached her management team.
Over the weekend, Namuleme played full-time as her team defeated Ulinzi Starlets 3-0 in a top-of-the-table clash. In that game, another Ugandan player, Margaret Kunihira, scored one of the goals and now leads the top scorers’ chart on 13 goals.
The team now leads the table on 49 points, five ahead of Ulinzi Starlets with three games to the end of the season.
Kenya Police Bullets has already shown interest in retaining Namuleme, but that would entirely depend on the size of offers from the other interested parties.
