Kenya U17 Women’s National Team head coach Mildred Cheche has named a provisional squad of 30 players ahead of the ecounter against neigbours Uganda.
The Junior Starlets will face the Queen Cranes of Uganda this month at the second round of the 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
The first leg will take place at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba between 22-25 May while the return leg will come a week later in Nairobi.
It should be noted that Kenya eliminated Namibia 7-1 on aggregate to get to this stage while Uganda on the other hand got better of Zimbabwe with a 6-1 aggregate score.
This will be second meeting for Uganda and Kenya at this stage. The two teams faced off in the 2025 World Cup Qualifiers with Kenya advancing 5-0 on aggregate.
