The Title race in the FUFA Women Super League got a new twist on Sunday after the top two teams failed to win thus pushing the deciding moment on the final day of the season.
In the penultimate round played on Sunday, both table leaders She Corporate and their immediate chasers Kawempe Muslim failed to pick maximum points.
She Corporate suffered a 1-0 defeat to Uganda Martyrs at St. Gerald’s Stadium courtersy of Sharon Kanyiginya’s well curled free kick.
On the other end, Kawempe Muslim played out a one-all draw with Kampala Queens. Latifah Nakasi fired the Valley Warriors into the lead but Kampala Queens were able to salvage a point with Esther Namusoke finding the equalizer.
The two results meant, the title will be decided on the final day where Kawempe Muslim will host Olila High School while She Corporate will take on She Maroons in Njeru.
At the moment, She Corporate leads the table on 50 points, one ahead of second placed Kawempe Muslim.
