The draws for the 2026 Buganda Masaza Cup tournament were held on Tuesday, 19th May at Bulange, Mengo in Kampala.
Buganda Kingdom Minister for Sports, Youth and Arts Oweek. Salongo Robert Serwanga, flanked by members of the tournament local organizing committee, representatives from the respective teams and members of the fourth estate, witnessed this draw.
Oweek. Serwanga urged the team representatives to embark on early preparations for a successful championship.
The 18 teams are pooled in three groups: Bulange, Muganzirwaza and Masengere.
Bulange Group has the reigning champions Buweekula, islanders Buvuma, Buddu, Kyaddondo, Busujju and Buluuli.
Muganzirwaza Group has Ssingo, Mawogola, Butambala, Kabula, Kooki and Bugerere.
In the Masengere Group, there is Kyaggwe, Busiro, Bulemeezi, Gomba, Ssese and Mawokota.
The official kick-off date is Saturday, June 13th, as Buweekula hosts Kyaddondo.
