Uganda Cranes head coach Joseph Paul Put has released the squad of players to feature in the upcoming June 2026 international friendlies against Tanzania and Madagascar.

The squad summoned has a blend of locally based players and the foreign-based legion.

There are rookies as well as the returning crop of players who have once featured for the Uganda Cranes.

US-based Allan Oyirwoth is among the returning faces on the team that also includes Aziz Kayondo, Tunisian caged Travis Mutyaba, Allan Okello (Young Africans), Steven Desse Mukwala, Jordan Obita, Bobosi Byaruhanga and Alhassan Baba, stationed in Romania; and others.

The local legion of players has Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Sammy Ssebaduka, the goalkeeping duo of Hannington Ssebwalunyo and David Lukwago, Richard Basangwa, Hilary Mukundane, Geoffrey Lubangakene, Herbert Achayi, Abdul-Karim Watambala, Joseph Seremba, among others.

Uganda Cranes take on Tanzania on June 5, and three days later will face Madagascar on June 8.

Both matches will be played in the North African country of Morocco.
