Kawempe Muslim have one foot into the final of this year’s FUFA Women’s Cup after dispatching holders Amus College in the first leg.
In the game played at Amus College Stadium, the League Champions showed their might to win 3-0.
Jovia Nakagolo opened the scoring in the sixth minute before on-form Latifah Nakasi came through with a brace to seal victory for the Valley Warriors.
Kawempe Muslim are seeking to clinch a double to become only the second team to do so, emulating She Corporate who did so in the 2024/25 season when they won the FUFA Women Elite League and FUFA Women’s Cup.
The return leg for the semifinals will be played on Wednesday, 17th June with the winner on aggregate progressing to the final.
In the other semifinal, Kampala Queens edged Lady Doves 2-0 in Lugogo courtersy of goals from Kamiyati Naigaga and Joanita Ainembabazi.
