Kawempe Muslim progressed to the final of this year’s FUFA Women’s Cup in style after dumping out holders Amus College on Wednesday.
The Valley Warriors won the return leg played in Kawempe 3-0 to reach their first-ever FUFA Women’s Cup final. It should be noted that Kawempe Muslim won the reverse fixture with the same scoreline in Bukedea.
In today’s game, Jovia Nakagolo, Samalie Nakacwa and Agnes Nabukenya were all on target for the Ayub Khalifa-coached side.
Kawempe Muslim will face Kampala Queens in the final on Sunday at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba.
Kampala Queens, on the other hand, overcame Lady Doves 4-0 on aggregate. The Queens of Soccer won today’s return leg 2-0 at Katusabe Stadium in Masindi.
Kamiyati Naigaga and Joanitah Ainembabazi, who scored in the first leg, were also on target today.
